The Middletown Township Public Library invites children ages 2-3 to their ‘Terrific 2’s and 3’s’ programming in October. This month is full of entertainment for the smallest of friends exposing them to math, music and so much more.
Math Starts, Wednesday, October 2, 2013, from 10-10:30am or 10:45-11:15am. Librarian led interactive math program. Young children develop math skills through games, rhymes, and stories.
Rise and Shine-It’s Story time, Friday, October 11th from 10-10:30am Join us as we combine stories, rhymes and finger play.
Parachute Play time, Tuesday, October 15th from 10-10:30am A fascinating way for children to develop gross motor skills, learn to work together, have imaginative play, develop spatial awareness and express themselves.
Magical Musical Me! Monday, October 21st from 10-10:30am. Clap, sing, and wiggle as we learn songs your little ones will be singing at home, in the car, and around town.

Middletown Township Public Library will also host ‘Penguin Pointers’ presented by Jenkinson’s Aquarium in the Community Room on Wednesday, October 23rd from 4-4:45pm for children ages 4 and up.
Meet a live penguin and watch as it waddles around the room! This program clears up common misconceptions about penguins as students learn about their biology, geography, care and feeding, and conservation.
