On behalf of Nina, Tom and A.J. and 107.1 FM, thank you to all who came out to support your community with us during our “Live! for 107″ event.  We are truly appreciative and humbled by all of you who came together for your friends, family and neighbors.  All the riders, everyone who donated, and all those who just came by to show support.

A special thank you to those who bravely shared their stories, hard as they may have been to tell, of struggles, successes, and losses.

Thank you to the Jules L. Plangere Family Foundation for their generous donation of $12,500 to Prevention First and $12,500 to Preferred Behavioral Health.

Thank you to the Monmouth Mall, Freehold Raceway Mall and Ocean County Mall.

Heroin and opiate abuse continues to be an epidemic through out our community.  We heard stories from young and old, from every economic background, and from every race, color or creed… this affects us all.  This is not something that will fix itself or go away anytime soon, it is a fight that will take hours, weeks and years to win.  We all need to stay educated, recognize the signs, and figure out how to help each other.  Let’s all keep moving in the right direction.

Thanks to all those who are lent us their support at each location:

Sunrise Detox, Prevention First, Preferred Behavioral Health, HBH Counseling, CFC Loud and Clear, The Monmouth County Prosecutors Office, The Ocean County Prosecutors Office, The Christopher Robert Foundation, The Asbury Park Press,

Johnny Rockets, Frozen Peaks, Chick-Fil-A, Burger King, Noodles, Starbucks, Bahama Breeze, Auntie Anne’s, Applebee’s, Dicks Sporting Goods, All Star Bagels, Cinnabon, Brio Tuscan Grille, Bobby’s Burger Palace, PF Changs, The Cheesecake Factory, Muscle Maker Grille of Fisher Blvd. and all those who where kind enough to bake, buy and make food for the staff at each location.
